Toronto Has the Most Beautiful Women in the World

Women from elsewhere in the universe, please don’t take offence. I am sure you are gorgeous too, it is just that cumulatively, Toronto wins. I do not know why that is exactly. Many would make the argument that our multiculturalism is the root reason for this, but I do not buy that. London is arguably just as diverse as Toronto is, but I still think we rate higher. Dublin and Japan both have a significant amount of beautiful women too, and they are pretty monocultural.
Maybe it’s because we spend half the year bundled up hiding any and all references to our body shape, that when the sun comes out we’re all trying to look our best and show off what we got. But even that can’t be entirely true. Take a stroll through the club district on a below freezing Friday night and you’ll still see plenty of young women braving frigid winds to look their best. I’m sure the more seasonally appropriate dressed men inside enjoy it, but I don’t really go to those spots, so it just seems silly to me. To each their own (frostbite).
But just how this came to be is irrelevant. The implications of it are not however, and unfortunately, it sucks the most for you beautiful women.
Here’s a typical example: I’m on the streetcar. I notice an attractive women. I check there’s no wedding ring (seriously, I do that now and it makes me feel really old). There’s a bit of back and forth eye contact. Eye contact morphs into half-smiles. Good feelings all around. Then my stop comes and I get off. No attempt is ever made to make it any more than that little shared smile.
Now maybe I’m just one dude too pussy to show some initiative. Might be some truthiness to that, but it doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, I don’t have to show initiative. Barring some future horrible disfiguring accident, this whole scenario will probably play itself out again. Mild attention from beautiful women is not in short supply in this city (and I’m a pretty average dude). I don’t feel that if I don’t seize the opportunity I risk never getting laid again. And I’m not alone. The half-assed fly by the seat of your pants approach has worked pretty well for most of us. As one guy I know said, “Even I have a hot girlfriend! That makes NO sense.”
It’s as if beauty has no currency anymore. I mean, it’s required yes, but since everyone has it, you need a little more to get noticed. It’s the general arts degree of dating. “Oh an English major, that’s nice, but what sort of volunteer work have you done?”
Looking back, all the women I’ve dated fall into at least one of these categories:
- went to school with
- friends of friends
- worked with
- met at a concert/show
- met online in some capacity
In all those scenarios, there was always some sort of shared interest at play. Hells yeah they were all beautiful, but there was more to it than that. It was never damn just a mutual, “Damn she/he’s fly. Let’s see if nudity is in our future…” (although I suppose that IS a shared interest too). Conversation was always the coitus catalyst (say it three times fast).
As it should be. At the risk of sounding lame as hell, good conversation is the sexiest thing a woman can bring to the table. If the conversation is lacking, so will the relationship. And if you find yourself enduring three hours of bad conversation for one hour of good sex, I question your time management skills (a pro who knows what she/he wants will cut to the sex sooner and keep it moving if need be).
So beautiful women of Toronto, be beautiful, be proud. You should be. Just be mindful of the terrain. If a dude shows a little interest only because of that beauty, he doesn’t really have to be that invested at all, especially if he takes the streetcar home.

very well written Mike! Filled with loads of personality, I could hear you actually the entire time. Me and Andrea ALWAYS complain about this!! There are WAY too many hot girls in Toronto, it sucks. I’m in Miami now and the amount of attention I get here vs in my city is like day and night. In Toronto there isn’t a day that goes by that someone doesn’t approach me like… you look JUST like someone else I know…
My face ain’t special, maybe that’s why it’s so hard to keep a Toronto man, too much to look at! Whatevs it’s a gift and a curse, I must admit I think it’s amazing to know so many stunning women. All of the girls above are on my Facebook.

I could be biased (1. my picture is up there… and 2.I LOVE MY CITY), but I’m on board with this! lol… shoutouts to Mike for keeping it real…no disrespect to any other countries, cities, places… as a person who’s traveled the world, I’ve seen beauty in all time zones. But there is something definitely “special” about the ladies in Toronto. I think it has to do with the fact that we’re also cool ass chicks… most of us grew up with immigrant parents (or is there already a new generation out there??lol) that gave us licks to bring us up as proper ladies… every man in America seems to be weak for T.O. girls just off the “you ladies are sooo nice” or “i dun messed with some BAAAAD ones in t.o.” (you’d be surprised how many times ive heard that verbatim…seriously) smh. Long and Short, I’m a T.O girl…till the end, and damn proud to be one. S/O to the beautiful ladies of TGAW and Toronto, Canada. LOVE. xo

I’m glad you guys enjoyed this. It’s interesting how this seems to be both celebrated and complained about at the same time. This is one of life’s good problems.
I think its great, however if the men were equally as aesthetically pleasing I’d think it was greater.

I love this post, it is beautifully written. I def agree agree about the hot factor, all my friends and countless girls I meet on the street or stunning, making everyone blend into a crowd of beautifulness. All jokes aside, I do agree that you need an extra UMPH, if you are to stand out of the crowd. Shout out to all the T.O ladies stay fly!
