Checkout Those Girls Are Wild’s Theme Song : Journey To Edition
We had an extremely productive week this week on all of our journeys. Andrea has been in the studio recording (she is there today actually), I set a meeting with my agent for my book and we did a LOT of work on the pilot for our web series. Monday our friend Mike Warren from Everything That’s Fly was kind enough to let us record our show intro plus our spoof song at his wicked studio! Then Wednesday and Thursday we filmed all day (which has resulted in less than 4 minutes of finished footage..ya we still got a ways to go). This week we are filming our celebrity sketch with a famous friend of ours (I bet you can guess who), we are also filming sketch intros, a few more skits, some scenes with Laith and then we need to put visuals to the intro.
Here is where you can help! Up top is our show intro, we need some ideas on what visuals to add to it. And if you wanna be our super hero, maybe you can volunteer your super incredible video editing skills to do it for us (hey just thought I would put it out there).
Post links or just let us know what you think in the comments. Here are some ideas that we like. Maybe a combo of all three?

The Song’s fun! I’m not a producer just a fan and I say use it and let it grow.
Now those videos are mind BLASTING, especially I met the walrus…I’m gonna look up that company down the road for myself (serious)
First off there’s always a way to make it happen, I am a creative person but making videos aren’t really my forte. What I should really ask is if you’ve got some concepts so far, because at this point I can totally see the first vid example working without heavy production power as it’s inexpensive and still very stylized. It reminds me of 13thwitness’ stuff, and the Ceelo typographic treatment is good too, but it’d take some thinking to…hmmm wait a tic! type and some simple visuals could work flowing in and out…I could see that fusing well with the first given the short time limit and the third is on some other OTHER planet of professional production. I was drooling the whole time…that’s more artsy. I think either 1 or 2 or a decent combo of the two would make for a great opening theme vid.
There’s always a way but the choice at the end of the day is yours
Just my two cents as an Illustrative designer. I have a friend tho lemme see.
LOVE the theme song!
So we’re going to save Shannon’s thumb piano solo extended version for the DVD release, right?
i LOVE this.

str8up! cuz its a 90′s sitcom but its not the 90′s ya kno?
I love your intro song! The 1st two videos are great. I especially liked the Maestro Knows Intro. A combination of that and the Cee-lo video would be perfect in my opinion.
let me start off by saying I L O V E the theme song… lol… I think a combination between the first and sencond video whould be really cool…. I like the first video because the scenery and colors reminded me of Shannon’s photographs.. idk why but it just clicked ya know? and I think with the theme songs that … the sencond video would be fun… so we can hear it and see the visual… i think it’s gonna be great!!! Mi kyan wait!
(yea buddy!) lol…
Oh, that was it?? lol (Talking about the first vid, I was just getting down…lol) But yeah, def like the theme song!! (Hamrmonies <3) and as far as the second video, he's so boldy saying 'fuck you' and it's funny and entertaining-great song, I'd feel the same way, and I love your site, but if you want my honest opinion, the young girls that read your book , (which I WILL be buying Thursday), probably visit your site as well. Please don't take it the wrong way or anything because I love all (of what I've read and watched) and I just felt taken aback at the second video only because it was sooo bold. And I know you are outspoken and wild, but there are 12+ girls that may follow you girls on the site.
Ahh Maestro that fine piece of beard….. OFF flipping topic! I love his intro and a crazy set of visuals came up in my head when I played the intro. The combination of the typography and something similar to Maestro’s intro would be crazy and Super, Duper, Flyyyyy!
And I love “I met the Walrus,” toronto love!
I would love to volunteer (i’m just throwing that out there), I’m no Walter Murch but I got some mean Final Cut Pro skills.
Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease.
