Wild Group from the Archives: Soul For Real

Soul For Real was kinda like the 90′s version of the Jackson 5…kinda! 4 Brothers who could sing and the youngest one was the lead, they didn’t dominate the charts or anything but they did have a couple hits! I don’t know much about Soul For Real but I do know that if I’m having a 90′s jam their songs have to get played!

    Candy Rain has some deep bass in that song. If you listen to it, it doesn’t sound like such a kid song anymore.

  Ahh…my aunt lived on the same block as the youngest one Jason and his mom(I think thats his name) in Wheatley Heights, NY.. and my cousin and I would ‘tan’ in the driveway hoping he drove by and one day he did an stopped and said hello to us and we giggled like a bunch of groupies and then got mad at each other for losing our cool. LOL

  I LOVE Soul For Real. Every time I hear Candy Rain, I literally drop everything and sing my heart out. That song was my ish back in the day. haha. I’m excited to see a post about them.
