Thank you guys so much for the hair tips. I also use the Pantene Relaxed and Natural Shampoo Shannon and I like it alot. If you are looking for a good conditioner Shannon you should try Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner!! It is really good. It smells amazing, and will leave your hair smooth. To control frizz, you can try Extra Virign Olive Oil from the store and it should work find. Since my hair is natural, I try many things enhance my curls, so sometimes I do Bantu Knots, or I do a “Twist and Curl”. To do a twist and curl all you have to do is twist your hair into sections and put rollers at the end, and in the morning take out the rollers and the twist and your hair will be curly

My curls are almost wavy like.. curly in the back but more wavy looking in the front.
- i shampoo and condition.. comb out my hair while the conditioner is in.. leave it in while i shower then rinse it out. theeeeeeen i squeeze out most of the water from my hair
- then i put Ramoni leave in conditioner .. i love love love this! smells like baby powder
- then i put this product called “Curls” .. i could only find it in the states.. but i only need about a quarter size and scrunch my hair with it

My hair is all natural. I relaxed them one day, it was biggest mistake of my life ’till now, now I have the afro hair like MJ. it’s also a lot of work!!
1- I use head & shoulder or another shampoo with aloe vera!
2- I condition them with aloe vera, then I rinse out and let them dry
3- i put Olive oil, is the best oil for every type of hair
4- I plait them!
5- when I leave my hair open, I do process 1 to 3 then i add the olive oil Hair gloss (really nice). and I have shining, healthy Afro hai

[..YouTube..] what about COARSE HAIR?? lol im playing.. thnx for sharing guys ill definately look for the Mix Chicks conditionner! hmm.. apart from that no tips tricks here. my hair is very very coarse, 2 boxes of “coarse hair” perm to get my straight every 2 mmonths.. apart from that just for simplicity’s sake im a braids and weave person. I mostly use Motions shampoo and hair conditioner, then Olive Oil hair cream on a daily basis.

[..YouTube..] I pretty much do the same thing you guys do. Me having naturally curly/wavy hair. When I want to straighten my hair I just do the simple wash, blow dry, n flat iron as well. To get it back curly, I just wash my hair n that it lol. It goes back to how it normally is. I have a question tho, 4 both of you..Which do u prefer? Straight or curly hair?

[..YouTube..] HAHHA we share the same hair process for curly or straight hair (except the curling iron part). U guys didn’t mention any anti-breakage or heat serum for when u use a blow dryer or a flat iron. I use the whole line of organics olive oil and for anti-breakage and heat i use Profectiv oil and lotion because my hair gets super extra dry and brittle and Profectiv keeps it moisturized about 3-4 days longer without me touching it. It is specially great applying it b4 i blow dry bcus it comes out XOXO

[..YouTube..] Wow 3-10 days, I can’t go more than one day without washing my hair, it just gets too oily and greasy otherwise, which is not a good look.

Andrea – ive used Mixed Chics… i like it.. but yea you cant use too much or your hair will get crunchy – i hateeee that feeling

when im done my hair is left feeling light

[..YouTube..] I will definitely have to try the Mixed Chicks product since everyone is raving about it. And I really need to get a comb attachment for the blow drier. I think that’s why it’s still taking me an hour plus to straighten my hair myself. :/ cause Ill blow dry then flat iron with a CHI ceramic. I also wash my hair about once a week, and try to see my hair dresser for a hot oil treatment about once a month. Thanks again appreciate the tips! luv kali

[..YouTube..] you guys are the bestest! <3thanks for the post!I wash my hair with Pantene Pro HYDRATING curl, the shampoo and conditioner separately not the two in one joint. I find it’s really good for curly hair, and not heavy. I need to buy a small barrow curling iron, but other wise I just finger curl like ya’ll. I, like Andrea, have curly but fine hair so I try not to use too much product HOWEVER, i will swear by Moroccan Hair Oil – Shannon that is the truth right there. The whole line.

    hahaha lol at shannon 4:04

the best, and easier way to straight hairs, is with the Iron flat… God bless the person who invented Iron flat!!……
hahaha it’s just an Idea! but can you make parody about treys new video !?, instead of “i invented sex”.. you say “i invented the Iron flat!!” it’ will be so funny..

    back to serious things!

My mom has really curly hair, so I’ll be sure to pass on the advice to her. I think she has some lingering angry feelings toward her hair because she grew up in the sixties and seventies when straight hair was really in… She rocked the eighties though; it’s like she said “HELL YEAH, curly hair is finally in!” and went out of her way to make hers as big as humanly possible.

    Anyway, thanks for the tips.

I love that you guys did this! Thank you for sharing all the tips and product info.
I’m actually to impatient to straighten my hair, and pretty low maintenance, so I swear by Got2B mousse (the bright orange bottle on the shelf) and my diffuser. Can’t live without those two. Ever since my hairdresser showed me how to style my curly hair, it’s been ON. Mousse, flip upside down, and diffuse. That’s it!

[..YouTube..] Hey Andrea I just wanted to say I love your hair color and just wanted to know if you can explain the coloring process I myself has black relaxed hair and would love to get your shade what color is that? & what brand should I buy?

  34. Comment by thosegirlsarewild on December 20, 2009 1:19 pm

[..YouTube..] @governess1985 I go to hair colorist, and I always recommend going to a professional cuz they know best! Over the years I’ve played with my color between reds, auburns, blonde highlights and dark brown. Use any of these colors and it should come out similar!
